Since the beginning of the UNESCO world album series “The children of the world are painting” in Kazakhstan in 1999, this annual publication overgrows to a movement that had not only found its place, but also had united different organizations and groups of artists, bringing into life UNESCO’s values through children’s creativity and artistic expression.
In fifteen years of its publication Kazakhstan has expanded the boundaries of the project's original scope, and now the project in addition to children's drawings reflects almost all kinds of children's art, including sculpture, decorative and applied art, Kazakh folk applied art, design, as well as car, ship and airplane modeling.
This will lay the foundation for a new cultural dialogue to promote peace and preserve human values for present and future generations!
