Tajikistan: International Standards for Journalism Education

From 27 to 28 September 2018 UNESCO Almaty will organizing the meeting in Dushanbe of journalism universities and the training centers of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Meeting will be devoted to the 28 September 2018 - International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) - 2018. IDUAI has particular relevance for the new 2030 Development Agenda, and in particular with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) target 16.10 which calls for ensuring public access to information and protection of fundamental freedoms.



As the result the participants of the meeting will be aware of Before the meeting, the UNESCO resource material will be translated into Tajik - the UNESCO model curricula for journalism education.

UNESCO Almaty published the Awareness razing Survey on International Standards for Journalism Education to identify the workshop participants and their needs. The Survey effective till 31 July 2018 and available for Tajik Journalism universities and chairs by following URL: https://secure.unesco.org/survey/?sid=34457. The final list of the participants will be identified upon completion the survey by all informed universities in Tajik Republic.
